People are my passion and I strive to be a welcoming space for everyone I meet. In addition to modeling, I enjoy singing, dancing and writing. What do I think about A New Kind of Beautiful TV series Presented by The Fashion Hero TV series?

I am someone who has a genuine love for diversity. I love the fact that every person comes with a different story and a unique beauty. It is so exciting to see a show that embraces and celebrates diversity in the fashion industry! As a dark skinned, black woman with afro features, my form of beauty was not always celebrated as I grew up. I am so happy to see black beauty and other non-traditional forms of beauty being celebrated more. The world needs so much more of this!

Why would I be a great role model for this generation and inspire people as the new face of A New Kind Of Beautiful TV series Presented by The Fashion Hero?

I grew up in a world where black beauty was too often exclusively associated with black people who held more Eurocentric features like light skin and thin noses. I had the amazing opportunity to be taught that there was great strength and beauty in my identity. However, it took me a while to embrace that truth that I was taught from my childhood. Now I embrace myself with confidence. I know what it is to be insecure and I know what it is to overcome it. I have a genuine love for people and I'm not afraid to be vulnerable so that others can feel the courage that they need to embrace themselves as I am learning to embrace myself.
