A Filipino working as an English Conversation Teacher in Japan

It's amazing that this site gives opportunity to commoners like me to express and showcase ourselves. It's good to see REAL PEOPLE because majority of the models being showcased on the mainstream medias are too unrealistic.

There are so many Filipino women who sacrifice our personal lives , and chose to live away from our loved ones just so that we could work abroad and provide for our families. I am one of them. I got married pretty you but it didn't stop me from pursuing my degree. I proved to defy the negative expectations people have for young mom's. I got a licence to become a Professional Teacher, even finished my master's degree and finished the academic requirements to attain Doctor of Education. However, I needed to sacrifice my doctorate studies because I was hired to be a teacher in Japan. Another sacrifice that I have to make because here in Japan, I have had a lot of opportunities to make more for my family. I am a mother of three. All are in the university. I am continuing to sacrifice for them until they achieve their specific dreams in life.. I am a mom, a teacher, a molder of youth. Therefore, I deserve to become a FASHION HERO.
