I am a mother, nerd, hard worker, extroverted introvert
I think this is a pretty cool idea because it strays away from what we are shown to be the norm. It gives people like me an opportunity to excel even further than we had imagined.
I would be a great role model for this generation, and I would be able to inspire people because I know what it’s like to be homeless, I have been through a lot of different situations, including domestic violence, I have taken care of cancer patients until the end of their life, I have fostered my nieces and nephews when my sister was having issues getting sober. I have always taken care of other people and guiding and caring for people are my love languages. I went from being homeless in 2014 to becoming a manager of my own department in an aerospace Corp. I know that I can take this further by inspiring other people, and motivating them that no matter what life puts you through as long as you keep trying minimal progress is still better than no progress. I never imagined that I would be in the position that I am in right now, and I’m still working working my way up and trying to motivate people within my own company to be better communicators, to be more empathetic toward each other, and to bridge the communication gap between people that don’t understand each other’s personalities. I have been around a diverse group of people I work with the military, not only in the United States but worldwide.
