Hey, I am a 45 year old mother and wife. I live and breath fashion. Starting in the industry in 1992. Currently lecturing to fashion students and also doing my Bachelor of Applied Fashion. I have worked for multi billion dollar businesses around the world and see this industry is on the verge of changing. I am really excited. I live in Brisbane Qld Australia with my family but I have family around the world.

Mmmm interesting question. Fashion Hero means to me teaching and educating more than fashion lovers for the mass consumer how and why to buy clothes for the future. I was always taught buy classical styles that will last. Its a bit more difficult to that these days when you are bombarded with consumption marketing. The shift back to buying less and buying what you LOVE and buying items that are more expensive which means, Slow fashion. For years I have been blabbing this to the point I think I bore people, but hey that's ok because now people are ready for it. We need to keep saying this and we need to be kind about it. The environment has shown us during Covid lockdown how it will flourish and inspire us to be kind to it. So I really think we need to take the lead from nature and reduce, LOVE and spend wisely. This is only a snippet of ideas, I love fashion and I want more people to understand how this industry needs to adjust its purpose.
