I am a success driven baby girl! I am a highly optimistic person, in-fact, you can call me optimism. I love how confident and expressive fashion makes me and the people around me feel. I am mostly perceived as an opinionated and sometimes temporarily obsessive. I am a foodie and dog lover. I love picking the minds of strangers, I love movies and books, I exist more in the fantasy world than real life. I love a good laugh. I love my family and friends. poverty turns me off, arrogance is disgusting. I want to live my life encountering and accumulating new and different experiences. I'll like to die an informed death and go to Jesus.
The fashion hero show empowers and unites people in all forms and sizes. It is such a powerful and empowering movement for actively seeking faces and bodies belonging to realistically proportioned humans and not only for attempting to change an industry so entrenched in a single aesthetic ideal, but for reaching through the TV/laptop screen to teenagers doubting their worth because of what they see in the mirror. I think this show is deeper than physical fashion, it’s a soul fashion thing and Seeing as i am applying to be a contestant I know it will be one hell of a cruise.
I AM CONFIDENT IN MY ABILITIES AND MY MINDSET. I TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN SHOWCASING MY BEAUTIFUL AFRICAN BODY. I THINK WE NEED TO RE-NORMALIZE GLORIFYING THE BEAUTY IN BEING A THICK AND BLACK AFRICAN QUEEN. MY CONFIDENCE MAKES PRESENT DAY UNREALISTIC FASHION STANDARDS A JOKE AND ENCOURAGES GIRLS LIKE ME TO BE MORE CONFIDENT IN THEIR SKIN AND NOT FEEL THE NEED TO CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT THEIR BODY. I WANT TO INSPIRE PEOPLE TO BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES MORE THAN THE SOCIAL STANDARDS. I ALWAYS TELL MYSELF NOT TO TALK PEOPLE TO DEATH ABOUT WHAT I CAN DO AND JUST DO IT INSTEAD, WHICH IS MY FAVORITE QUOTE "JUST DO IT" I am an AFRICAN girl with a lot of dreams, I HOPE TO ENCOURAGE OTHER GIRLS LIKE ME DISCOVER AND CHASE AFTER THEIR DREAMS.
